Our Game Grids are perfect for any Fjords Player out there!!
Each grids holds 7 game tiles nicely while building your Fjords game map and interlocks in any direction with the next grid panel. No matter how you play you will never run out of room to place the next tile. In addition to allowing the pieces to stay perfectly together it also makes it easy to slide the entire map around your table at any point ~ comes in extremely handy when the game starts going one direction or you have that one player with really short arms :)
Game Grids - Fjords
The grids dimensions are approximately 5.3" in a hexagon shape. Each tile space designed to hold the standard Hexagon Tiles provided with the game. Each set comes with 15 Game Grids and one Storage Tray. This accounts for 105 tiles spaces per game which we have found to usually be ample space for most sessions (based on 4 Players).
We print each panel from premium Brown/Beige PLA's to not only be durable but compliment your game perfectly by default. If you need another color - please ask, we do have many other filaments in stock that we can use to print these it just may take a day or two longer to get out to you.
Side note, during the first few uses of your grid sets they can be very tight while interlocking the male and female slots - we do this intentionally knowing that the PLA will wear very slightly and we want to ensure a good (smooth) fit for years to come and repeated play...
